The Girl Scouts develops future leaders by helping girls discover new skills, connect with others, and take action in their communities through a nurturing all-girl environment that strengthens a girl's courage, confidence, and character. Programs center on Girl Scout Leadership Experience or GSLE, a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities such as: - Earning badges and doing community service projects - Field trips, hands-on program events, and learning opportunities - Life skills - Outdoor opportunities - Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) - Selling cookies and entrepreneurship

Provides a 30 - 45 day, 45 - 60 day, and 60 - 120 day inpatient treatment program for adolescents, including gender specific programming, experiencing problems related to chemical use with programs including: - School component which includes close, periodic, and continuing contact with client's school system on an inpatient and aftercare follow-up basis - Recreational program emphasizing individual and group skills in addition to recreational therapy - Family participation for lectures, groups and family sessions. The YMCA End Zone program offers a fun, safe place for school age children to relax and bond with friends. Our program is for children in Kindergarten through age 13. Children participate in a variety of activities supervised by specially-trained staff. We offer homework time,swimming, outdoor play, art, games, fun, snacks and more. The End Zone program follows the ISD 318 school schedule and offers programming before & after-school, and no school days. We participate in USDA/CACFP. The North Homes Cottage offers a comprehensive 35 Day Evaluation to provide referral sources, children, and their families' appropriate recommendations to meet the client's needs. The Assessment Unit is staffed with trained youth counselors and Mental Health Practitioners who interact daily with clients and provide behavioral observations. The client will remain in the Assessment Unit for 35 days and participate in educational programming through independent School District 318, recreational, leisure, cultural, and spiritual activities, therapeutic groups, art therapy, medication education, eligibility for becoming a positive peer, visitation with family, etc. - 24-hour behavior observation and documentation by trained staff, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers. A comprehensive assessment, which identifies child and family issues, and historical information is conducted. The assessment team then recommends ongoing services that will best meet the present and future needs of the child and their family.
