Grief Support - Bri's Lodge

Services include: - Companioning: Grief companions provide a space for individuals to share their feelings in response to their profound loss. Companioning is anchored in respecting and exploring the uniqueness of loss while allowing individuals to share their grief and how it impacts them. - Events: Angel of Hope Candlelit Vigils, Annual Garage Sale, Evening of Hope, Horses Healing Hearts, and Kruzin for Bri's Lodge. - General Loss Support Groups: Offers a safe place for people to share their journey after the loss of their loved one. All groups will provide an experience where feelings, worries, problems, and joys can be expressed and received freely without judgment. This group is open to anyone with a loss of someone. ?- Grief retreats: Provides a place where individuals and families can come together to find peace and solace, a place where they can connect with others who are grieving a similar loss. For different types of loss such as: - Loss by Suicide - Older Child Loss - Perinatal Loss - Miscarriage and stillbirth - Sibling Loss - Adult - Spousal Loss - For older and younger - Younger Child Loss Horses Healing Hearts: In collaboration with Angel Reins Stable, this program happens once a month. Provides a grief equine assisted activities program where grieving individuals can go for hope and healing. Individuals will be able to go to the stables at Angels Reins to connect with the horses. Whether that is through petting them, brushing them or just being in their presence. People of all ages are eligible to register.

Funerals, Cremation, and Burial Information - Minnesota Funeral Directors Association

- Offers educational materials and guidance to the public, schools, churches, and community organizations on the funeral process and end-of-life planning - Provides information about funerals, cremation, and burial, including prepayment of funerals, anatomical gifts, and the responsibilities of funeral-service practitioners - Supports funeral professionals with training, study groups, seminars, and resources to enhance knowledge and services provided to families

Community Education and Support - Essentia Health Itasca Hospice

Hospice care is delivered through a team of professionals under St. Mary's Hospital Hospice. The mission of Itasca Hospice is to support and assure access for patients and families to quality Hospice services as provided by Itasca Hospice, and to educate the community on issues of dying, death and grief. Hospice offers a variety of support groups dealing with illness, death and grief.

Grief Resources - Allina Home and Community Services

- Offers grief support to Allina Hospice's patients' families and friends for 13 months following the death. Grief support includes Individual counseling, referrals to groups and other mental health providers, book recommendations, etc. - Support groups are open to anyone in the community in addition to maintaining a list of other grief support groups
