Child Protective Services accepts, responds to, and/or investigates reports of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Services may include the following: assessment of the initial referral, consultation with the family to determine the nature of the problem, temporary placement of children who are removed from the home, working with the family toward unification or reunification, and ongoing support services for children and their families with referrals to appropriate resources in the community. Reports are confidential (the identity of the person making the report is not given out). Reporters are asked to provide as much specific information regarding the suspected abuse or neglect as possible including location of the abuse/neglect, when the abuse occurred, and the identity of the person(s) suspected of abusing or neglecting the child(ren).

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that assists pregnant individuals, new mothers, infants, and young children to eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. Many working and low-income families are eligible for WIC's benefits. The WIC Program provides:

Village of Hope provides safe, secure emergency housing for families 24 hours/day ~ 7 days a week. We are open 365 days a year. The environment that a family experiencing homeless comes into is very important. We work to create a calm, safe environment in which families can build a future. Families can stay with us for 90 days, as long as they are actively looking for housing. Each family has their own apartment. This preserves the family unit and provides privacy.
