Participants locate a unit that meets program requirements and is inspected for Housing Quality Standards (HQS). Assistance is based on income and family size. The housing subsidy is paid directly to the landlord, and the participant pays the remaining portion of rent. Vouchers are portable and may move with the participant in accordance with program rules.

As recipients face a five-year time limit on receiving public assistance benefits, the program utilizes one-on-one group initiatives and counseling to facilitate participant success and self-sufficiency. Follow-up is provided to support job retention and reduce program recurrence.

The purpose of the WIC Program is to prevent health problems and to improve the health of program participants during critical times of growth and development. The WIC Program provides nutrition education, access to health services, referrals to health and other social services and vouchers for supplemental foods. The food vouchers list the types and quantities of WIC foods that are consistent with the participant's nutritional needs.

Program options:- Center Based Full Day Full Year: For children ages 3 - 5 years old who attend Monday - Thursday, 6 hours per day, from September through August.- Center Based Part Day Part Year: For children ages 3 - 5 years old who attend Monday - Thursday, 6 hours per day, from September through May.- Early Head Start Child Care Partnership: Classrooms are for children ages 6 weeks - 3 years in center-based partner locations and ages 6 months - 4 years at family child care partner locations. Hours depend on the needs of families.- Home Based Programming: Available for pregnant individuals and children ages birth - 5 years old. Head Start teachers make weekly home visits, bringing learning experiences and developmental activities. Center socialization days occur twice a month and provide socialization for children, parent education opportunities, and peer support for parents.All enrolled families are assigned a Family Service Worker to support family goal setting and connect them with resources to help achieve self-sufficiency.
