Works to bring care and support to every community so that no one has to face dementia alone. Support groups create a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. Provides an opportunity for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships. Trained facilitators lead support groups via phone, video, or in person. Also offers Caregiver Support Groups for caregivers of all types of dementia, as well as specific groups tailored to specific populations. Person with Dementia Support Groups are geared towards individuals who have recently been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or dementia and are in the early stage of the disease progression.
The program is available to blood cancer patients with significant financial need. Those who qualify will receive $500, once within a 6 month period, to cover the cost of treatment-related travel and lodging expenses for the patient and caregiver, including: ground transportation; tolls; gas; parking; car rental; car maintenance, repairs, and parts; air transportation; baggage fees; lodging; and ambulance services.The following expenses are not covered: food and beverages, alcohol, tobacco, clothing, medical/pharmacy expenses, and international travel. Any expense not covered by the program may be subject to audit and may result in loss of award.

Some classrooms also offer embedded services such as speech therapy and occupational therapy.- Families take part in regular skills building sessions and therapy to support their child's progress across home and community settings. Staff can assist families in understanding insurance and funding options, and medical transportation may be available for those with state funded insurance.- Promotes healthy development by identifying emotional, social, and developmental needs, providing supported opportunities to practice new skills, and strengthening parent child relationships.
