ECFE is a parenting education program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to Kindergarten entrance. Learning opportunities through ECFE may occur in a variety of settings, such as the families' homes, district or community sites, and online parenting education and support. The program works to eliminate these barriers using the Parents as Teachers home visiting curriculum. This evidence-based curriculum focuses on families with children who are prenatal up to 5 years of age to promote parent-child interaction, child development, and family well-being in a home-visiting model.   • Crisis Assessment, Mobile Crisis Intervention, and Crisis Stabilization services
  • This service provides adult mental health mobile crisis response services to eligible recipients.
  • A mental health crisis is a behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric situation that would likely result in significantly reduced levels of functioning in primary activities of daily living; an emergency situation; or placement of the recipient in a more restrictive setting. This setting could include but not be limited to, inpatient hospitalization.
  • A mental health emergency is a behavioral, emotional, or psychiatric situation, which causes an immediate need for mental health services.

Community Group Conferencing brings together the offender and victim of his/her crime, families, law enforcement, and community members to come up with the consequences for juvenile offender. The conference is done in a highly structured setting and led by a trained facilitator who serves as a neutral party. All parties talk about the crime and the behavior, how it affects them, and how to repair the harm that was caused. The juvenile case is managed by the Program Coordinator and is closed after the conference and all terms have been met, up to six months.
