Responsible for calculating, collecting, and distributing taxes for the county, cities, townships, and school districts. Also calculates the county payroll and employee benefits; administers and maintains the election system; issues transient merchant, auctioneer, and liquor licenses.

The Women's Shelter and Support Center provides a 24-hour domestic violence outreach program. Satellite offices are located in Dodge and Fillmore Counties. Services include:

• Emergency telephone assistance and in person crisis intervention
• Information and referrals and safety planning
• Emergency services including a safe shelter for women and their children leaving any type of current domestic violence relationship
• Emergency food, clothing, and transportation, etc.
• Legal advocacy including harassment restraining orders/injunctions and court support
• Provides general domestic violence information for the public
• Assistance with arrangements for pets may be available

Provides several food shelves located in Heron, Marshall, Tracy, Westbrook, and Worthington. The food shelves use the "client choice" system. People who visit the food shelf have the ability to choose the food and can select the amount of food based on their family size.

Provides care services for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Services are provided on the same day for a range of minor illnesses and injuries, including:

• Cold, cough, or flu

• Fever

• Sore or strep throat

• Sprains

Provides the following information and services:

• Child care licensing

• Child care provider information and referral

• General information on licensing for child care

Helps victims of crime with:

• Assistance to witnesses testifying in court hearings and trials

• Explaining the Order for Protection and Harassment Restraining Order application process

• Information about proposed settlement offers and pre-trial diversion programs

• Referrals to other agencies providing victim services

• Seeking restitution for economic loss or harm resulting from a crime

• Understanding the legal process and court procedures in a criminal matter

• Understanding and exercising victims' rights

Provides mental health wellbeing services such as:

• Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) to help individuals gain independent living skills, community skills, coping and social skills, and personal and emotional adjustments within the community

• Mental health evaluation and psychological testing to accurately diagnose clients and develop treatment plans

• Psychiatry services such as psychiatric evaluation by a nurse or psychiatrist and medication management

• Targeted case management for person-centered care to access needed medical, social, educational, and vocational services related to the client's mental health needs

Offers a senior center that provides adaptive exercise, arts and crafts, computer users class, dance, defensive driving classes, education, foot care, group counseling, health screening, meals, nutrition education, recreation, theater group, transportation, trips, and volunteer opportunities.

Provides an option for the family if their child is experiencing something that recently started and is of a non-severe nature. Walk-in Ready care is not for urgent or emergency cases. Conditions treated:

• Common cold

• Cough

• Ear pain

• Fever

• Minor injuries

• Pink eye

• Possible urinary tract infection

• Rash

• Sinus infection

• Sore throat

• Vomiting and diarrhea

Provides mental health services and chemical dependency treatment. Outpatient therapy offers individual, family, and group therapy. Common conditions treated include:

Provides application assistance for a variety of programs such as:

• MN Navigator Services: Helps individuals and families apply for health insurance enrollment, navigate health insurance options, and compare different health plans, including Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare. The navigator will help clients choose and enroll in the right program for them.

• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Helps individuals apply for the SNAP program. Provides education and support on the application process to qualifying low-income individuals and families.

Patients who need to speak with a financial counselor, need cost of care estimates or determine if they may qualify for financial assistance to pay for procedures may reach out about options. Financial counselors can help individuals understand patients' responsibilities and may offer no-interest payment plans. Other options may include:

• Discount Program: Individuals who are uninsured or underinsured and have incomes less than 250% of the Federal Poverty Guideline may be eligible for getting help to pay their medical bill

• Elevate Patient Financial Solutions: Help patients without medical insurance find resources to help pay for medical bills

Provide legal representation and supportive legal services to individuals facing mental health civil commitment proceedings: -Represent individuals subject to civil commitment proceedings (mental health, developmental disability, and/or substance use disorders, etc.) -Advocate for discharge from or a change to civil commitment order -Provide representation post-trial and/or at recommitment hearings-Advocate for civil commitment records to be sealed ARS is not affiliated with the Hennepin County Attorney's office or the Hennepin County Child Support division. Pro-life confidential client advocacy, support services, and post-abortion support including:

• Adoption information

Developing as Dads (DAD):

• Case Management: Helps people access, coordinate, and monitor needed educational, medical, social, and vocational services based on assessed needs and preferences

• Foot Care Clinics: Offers foot care services by appointment, including nail trimming, filing, blood pressure checks, education, and referrals, with no one denied for inability to pay.

• Reproductive and Sexual Health: Provides free or low-cost reproductive and sexual health services to all, delivered by nurses and a physician assistant in a confidential setting.

• 3 meals a day in the dining room, plus snacks

• Apartments and Suites: 1-bedrooms, 1-bedrooms plus den, and 2 -bedrooms

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility

• Emergency call system

• Licensed nurses and home health aides

• Personal laundry service

Assessment of skills to identify potentials, aptitudes, and career goals to determine employment needs for people with disabilities. Avivo works further with those assessed to find and keep employment they love. An employment counselor will work with the client on a training or employment plan designed to meet life and work goals.

Hospital and emergency department for severe and life-threatening situations that require immediate medical attention including:

• Chest pain or pressure

• Head injury

• Heart attack or acute coronary syndrome

• Seizures

• Severe abdominal pain

• Sexual assault

Financial coaching is an individualized process that helps individuals take action to reach their financial goals. Money Mentors is a six month program where individuals meet one-on-one virtually, with a volunteer financial coach to develop action steps to reach financial goals. Goals may include boosting savings, controlling spending, eliminating debt, or improving credit.

• Groceries for families and individuals finding themselves in an emergency situation

• Services may be received from this program every 30 days

• Volunteering opportunities available to fill boxes and stock product

Provides fire and rescue services including:

• Emergency medical services
