Services available 1:1 or in a group setting. Services are provided by a person who has a lived experience with a mental health diagnosis. Minnesota's Medicaid program for people with low income. Most people who have MA receive health care through health plans. Members who do not receive health care through a health plan receive care on a fee-for-service basis, with providers billing the state directly for services they provide. MA pays for a variety of services like doctor visits, prescriptions, and hospital stays. Some services and prescriptions may require prior approval. MA pays for medical bills going back three months from the month the application is received. NOTE: People with disabilities who work, even if they're over the income or asset limits of MA, may still qualify for a program called Medical Assistance for Employed Persons with Disabilities - MA-EPD.

  • Parenting Education: CLUES Parent Educators use the Parents as Teachers curriculum to provide parents with the tools to address child development needs and learn parenting skills to support healthy development. Offers a culturally responsive and Spanish-speaking program where parenting educators will visit homes monthly and provide one-hour lessons on topics specific to the developmental stage. Also, offers online early childhood resources and information to parents to learn about children's development and learning.

  • Prescription Drug Assistance: Helps those who qualify find ways to reduce prescription drug costs, including finding manufacturers' patient assistance programs and completing applications
  • Website of Resources: Offers a website to locate resources throughout the state for help with the home, medical costs, tax preparation, legal/advocacy, housing, transportation, food programs, benefits, health care, mental health, and more.
