Provides Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) in four core service areas:

• Basic Living and Social Skills: Offers one-to-one support to help participants build essential daily living and interpersonal skills. Skill areas may include cooking, nutrition, meal planning, budgeting, shopping, money management, time management, household organization, medication monitoring, wellness routines, and more.

• Community Intervention: Services include assistance with accessing social services and community resources, addressing employment or education-related concerns, facilitating communication with agencies and families, and preventing hospitalization or higher levels of care. Helps resolve housing issues or landlord conflicts, promotes successful community reintegration, and supports crisis resolution and stability planning.

• Medication Education: Services are customized to each client's treatment goals and needs, focusing on understanding the mental illness and related symptoms, educating on common and potential side effects of prescribed medications, and providing information on how medications help manage symptoms of mental illness.

• Transition to Community Living: Assist individuals in transitioning from a higher level of mental health care back into the community by bridging the gap between discharge and independent living by coordinating care, promoting stability, and carrying out the discharge plan.

Provides city services, including:

• Building permits and inspections

• - Elections: Administers city, county, state, and federal elections for residents who live within City limits and provides information regarding absentee voting, in-person voting, and early voting.

• - Planning commission: Reviews development plans and advises the City Council on site plan review, platting and subdivisions, conditional use permits, variances, and other planning and zoning related items.

• Public Works: Is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the community's infrastructure. Public Works duties include, but are not limited to:
• - Water & Sewer- Maintenance of the City's water production, distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and stormwater systems; water meter reading and repairs when needed, fire hydrants, and utility locates.

Streets - Repairs, preventative maintenance, snow plowing, roadside trimming to prevent sightline obstruction, street sweeping, street signage, street and signal light maintenance. Parks - Maintenance of the City's public open spaces including parks and cemeteries, City trails and sidewalks. Forestry - Answering resident questions about trees, and managing growth of trees and brush in City parks and public property. Compost - Maintaining the City's compost facility.

• Utilities: Water, sewer, garbage, and recycling

Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) helps families with children meet their basic needs, while helping parents move to financial stability through work. Parents are expected to work, and are supported in working with both cash and food assistance. Most families have a lifetime limit of 60 months on MFIP.

Voluntary early intervention program that provides a comprehensive assessment of families' needs and strengths to assist with making decisions about what services or community resources are accessible. Short-term help may be available to families with concerns regarding:

• Basic needs (food, clothing, and housing)

• Child care

• Financial needs (budgeting and financial assistance)

• Family health (medical care, mental, and chemical health services)

• Parenting

• Transportation

Referrals are often made to community support services such as child development screening services, food shelves, free or low-cost clothing programs, free health clinics, mental health services, and parenting support classes. ?

The Area Adult Learning Cooperative offers Adult Basic Education programs at no cost in the GFW area including:

• English as a Second Language

• Adult basic education

• Literacy programs

• Citizenship classes

• GED instruction

Offers small residential settings located at various sites. Each home accommodates 4-6 individuals with guidance of trained staff available day, evening, and overnight.

Local fire services

Provides a multidisciplinary approach for mental health care, offering a range of services. Services offered:

• Assessments and Evaluations: Provides diagnostic assessments, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, and combined psychological and parenting evaluations

• Therapy and Education: Provides individual and group therapy, consultations, psycho-education, and wellness for general mental health

• Medication Services: On-site pharmacist for medication management and aftercare

• Outreach: Provides outreach services to people experiencing homelessness

• Whole-person Care: Provides treatment for co-occurring disorders, care coordination, resource assistance, and collaboration with community partners and service providers

Program offering therapy that examines behavior in terms of motivation at the unconscious level. Therapy focuses on the mental and emotional processes that are experienced and developed in early childhood, and their effects on the individual's past and current behavior and mental states. Individual, family, group, and couples therapy available.

Provides free assistive phone devices to Minnesotans who qualify. Designed to make telephone communication more accessible for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, or have a speech or physical disability. Equipment provided includes, but is not limited to:

• Hands-free speaker phones

• Light-flashing ringers

• Loud ringers

• Phones for individuals with speech impairments

• Phones that display the caller's words on a screen and allow the user to respond verbally

• Special equipment for people who are deafblind

• Phones with amplified or enhanced sound for clearer hearing

• TTYs

Repairs or replaces equipment that is not working properly or no longer meets the client's needs. If a person is not eligible based on income, the TED Program can provide information on where to purchase devices.

Responsible for administering assessment for the county. Supervises and advises local jurisdictions on assessment matters, conducts statistical studies of assessment ratios, prepares appraisals for the County Board of Equalization and tax court, and advises the County Board. Provides assessment services for all unorganized townships and organized jurisdictions that contract with the county. Reappraises all parcels at least once every five years, inspects changes affecting value, administers homestead and other classifications, reviews taxpayer complaints, and assists local Boards of Review in evaluating appraisals.

Focuses on diagnosing and treating problems that affect the muscles, bones, and joints, as well as the nervous system. Treatment is provided for:

• Amputations

A physiatrist conducts physical exams, prescribes healing therapies, and develops treatment plans. A physiatrist can also prescribe spine and large joint injections as needed.

Provides a family-centered space where caregivers can access help with basic needs such as housing, food, childcare, employment, transportation, and mental health supports, and also helps in navigating complex systems and community services. Offers activities and events, including:

• Diaper Club: provides a once-a-month event where individuals and families can pick up free diapers

• Drop-in therapy

• Economic Assistance Support: Meet with an Economic Assistance Program Navigator one-on-one

Provides a housing resource line to individuals, families, and youth who are facing homelessness or are at risk of being homeless. The housing resource line provides information and referral to help people stay in their current housing situation or find new stable housing in the community.

Provides intensive, community-based mental health support for children and youth experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges. Offers individualized therapy, skill-building, crisis intervention, and family/foster support to improve daily functioning, stabilize symptoms, and reduce the risk of out-of-home placement. Services are delivered in the home, foster placement, or community, with a focus on collaboration, flexibility, and empowering youth to thrive in their environment.

Pays for room and board for seniors and adults with disabilities who have low incomes. Aims to reduce and prevent people from living in institutions or becoming homeless. All recipients receive assistance each month to help pay for rent and food. Some recipients also receive Housing Support supplemental funding to provide other services if they don't qualify for home and community-based waiver programs, including but not limited to:

• Arranging for medical and social services

• Arranging for meetings and appointments

• Assistance with transportation

• Medication reminders

The individual's housing provider receives payments to pay for rent, utilities, food, household supplies, and other necessities.

Provides assisted living designed for individuals who want extra support while still enjoying comfort and independence. Servicdes provided:

• Access to 24 hours/7 days a week on-site services such as health monitoring and medication management

• Housekeeping and laundry

• Personalized assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and more

• Social and recreational programs
