Classes are taught in English only. Adult Basic Education and GED Classes - Adult Options In Education

Adult Basic Education - ABE: Programming for adults who want to acquire or improve their math, reading, grammar, and/or writing skills. The program is self-paced; student-centered classes are designed to let students work independently. Licensed teachers and trained volunteers help students develop an individualized training plan (ILP) outlining their goals and objectives. GED Classes and Testing: Free GED preparation at learning sites in the southwest metro area and online. The GED exam covers areas of reasoning through language arts, mathematical reasoning, science, and social studies. Classes are student-centered and self-paced. Testing is available at Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins; scheduling the exam can be done through ged.com.
