The Cultural Wellness Center has an array of classes and programs available to the community, helping individuals to achieve optimum health and well being through a holistic and guided approach toward wellness. Services consist of the following programs: - Map to Wellness: Assists with creating a step by step action plan to assist individuals in overcoming barriers that prevent personal wellness, health and spiritual well-being - Community Re-entry: Assists individuals who feel isolated and disconnected from family and community by providing a network of community people and resources - Life Coaching: Center elders are available to check-in with anyone who finds themselves in need of guidance, advice, permission, assurance, understanding, and wisdom or anything of a similar nature - Cultural Self-Study: Works with individuals to provide them with the knowledge and guidance that enhances their capacity and frame to do a cultural self-study - Problem Solving: Works with community members to produce the knowledge and insight that will alleviate their problems and prevent them from happening. - Health Institute: Convenes circles of healing for families experiencing illness or loss, support for pregnant women throughout pregnancy including on-staff Doulas services, provides assistance to develop cultural ceremonies and rituals for life events
Provides community outreach, education, mentoring, and support for pregnant teens and mothers with small children in the Native American community. - Live It!: Teen pregnancy prevention and sexuality education curriculum for youth ages 11-18 - Nandagenim program: Support for mothers and children diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) - Ninde My Heart: Doula services
