Offers an assortment of exercise programs, allowing community members to take a preventive approach to aging well. Programs including: - Community exercise group: Full-body exercise routine that includes both seated and standing exercises. This program is designed to give participants a safe and effective workout that will allow them to increase and maintain their flexibility, stability, and movement - Exercise buddy: Trained volunteer meets with the participant weekly in their home to help increase their strength, flexibility, and balance Memories and movement evidence-based programs, including: - A matter of balance: An eight-week program that helps reduce the fear of falling and increases the activity levels of older adults. This workshop is offered through Juniper, a statewide network of evidence-based programs. - S.A.I.L.(Stay Active and Independent for Life!): This exercise class is a strength, balance, and fitness program for community-dwelling older adults to stay active and reduce their chances of falling. Meets two to three times per week for one hour. - Stepping on - Tai Ji Quan: Moving for better balance: a 12-week progressive learning course where participants learn an adapted 8 form Tai Chi routine that is intended to address common and potentially debilitating movement and balance issues. The area is fenced in and includes a separate area for smaller dogs. - Adapted therapeutic sports programs for children ages 6 - 13 with autism and physical disabilities - Cascade Bay Water Park - Safety camp for children with information about fire safety, fire prevention, personal safety, and how to play it safe in everyday situations.
