Financial Need-Based Scholarships, Equipment Loan, Tutoring, Girls Mentoring Group - Youth Advantage

Provides young people access to activities offered in the community through financial need-based scholarships and loan of new or gently used athletic equipment, musical instruments, or other necessary items. - Bike Cops for Kids: Program designed to create goodwill and fight crime in targeted Minneapolis neighborhoods. Police on bicycles ride through neighborhoods and pass out bicycle helmets and bicycles to children. Children are selected randomly. Lake Lodge Recreation Center - City of Winona Park and Recreation Department

Lake Lodge Recreation Center offers many outdoor activities, depending on the season, such as: ice skating, snow shoeing, broomball, canoeing, log rollingkayaking, paddle boards, liberty boats and bikes. The center also offers indoor activities such as: table tennis, and free Wi-Fi. Equipment rentals are available (members have the rent fee covered with their membership). Policies regarding children/youth use of the center include: ages birth to six years old must have an adult with them; ages 7 to 15 years old must have an adult on the water; and ages 17 years and under must have an adult sign the waiver.
