Caregiver Support Group (in-person and virtual options available): Meet with a trained facilitator to discuss common challenges they are facing, successes they are having, encouragement they have to offer, needs that they are seeking resources for, and many other things. This is a safe space for caregivers to meet, so they can improve self-care as well as care of their care receiver. Chronic Conditions Support Group: An opportunity to meet with other people living with a Chronic Condition or Disability to exchange helpful tips, give and receive support, and learn about new resources. Each session offers the opportunity to learn about managing common conditions in later life, as taught by a gerontologist, while also providing valuable social and emotional support from others. Conditions may include but are not limited to: - Arthritis - Depression - Diabetes - Heart disease - High blood pressure - Parkinson's, etc. When Caregiving Ends Support Group: An Elder Network volunteer uses the book, "After Caregiving Ends, A guide to Beginning Again," to facilitate discussion and help in navigating life after caregiving journey ends. Memory Café in Olmsted County: Memory Café is an opportunity for those with dementia and their caregiver to meet in our community for casual conversation and interaction with other people struggling with memory problems. Provides relaxing activities, crafts, drinks, and snacks. Memory Café in Wabasha County: Memory Café is an opportunity for those with dementia and their caregiver to meet in our community for casual conversation and interaction with other people struggling with memory problems. Provides relaxing activities, crafts, drinks, and snacks. This group is also open to older adults without memory concerns who are seeking socialization opportunities
The Hastings Senior Center, based at the Tilden Community Center, is operated through a partnership between the City of Hastings and Hastings Community Education. Works to bring care and support to every community so that no one has to face dementia alone. Support groups create a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. Provides an opportunity for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships. Trained facilitators lead support groups via phone, video, or in person. Also offers Caregiver Support Groups for caregivers of all types of dementia, as well as specific groups tailored to specific populations. Person with Dementia Support Groups are geared towards individuals who have recently been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or dementia and are in the early stage of the disease progression.

Active Seniors: Provides adults 55+ with a variety of diverse activities such as exercise, wellness, and social/recreation designed to support independence Care Consultation: Keystone Care Consultants help seniors navigate their health, economic, and social needs. Care managers meet with individuals in their homes or at one of the community centers to conduct an assessment, gather input from caregivers, and create goals. Once the assessment is complete, services may include: setting up rides to a social program, researching housing options, making a referral to an agency that helps with grocery shopping and/or cleaning, providing caregiver support, and accompanying seniors to doctor visits. Grocery Delivery: Provides free grocery delivery for low-income seniors and adults with disabilities. Those who qualify can receive monthly deliveries. Delivery can include meat, dairy, fresh produce, and shelf-stable items. In each delivery, individuals will receive an average of 25 pounds of food per person in the household. Accommodations are based on customer choice models such as vegetarian, halal, etc. depending on what is available. Deliveries will be dropped off between 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm Tuesday - Thursday by a volunteer. In-Home Help: Social workers coordinate with Recover Health to provide seniors with in-home nursing care, in-home therapies, and home health aides to assist with daily care. ?Tax Preparation Assistance: Provides tax services in coordination with AARP to seniors.
