Interns help plant and maintain the gardens, operate a farmer's market stand and sell produce to local restaurants. During the fall and winter, they develop entrepreneurial skills by creating and selling garden-related products and operating a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).
Conservation Program: interns work on community-based restoration projects such as building rain gardens, renovating parks, removing invasive species, and maintain 278 acres of green spaces in four parks.
Cook Fresh Program: interns develop skills in food preparation and preservation, nutrition literacy, and creative cooking through collaborations with Twin Cities chefs.
