The unit transitions patients from the emergency department into a welcoming and calm setting to provide assessment, initial treatment, and begin the healing process. A treatment plan is developed prior to transitioning to the next level of recommended care.
- Addressing a wide variety of challenges such as abuse/neglect, addictions, ADHD, adjustment problems, anxiety, autism, behavior problems, chronic medical conditions, co-dependency, depression, divorce issues, eating disorders, family changes, family dysfunction, grief/loss issues, learning disorders, parenting issues, personality disorders, PTSD, recovery/relapse issues, relationship issues, school problems, and women's issues.
