Wildlife Rehabilitation - Wildwoods Wildlife Rehabilitation
Assistance with:
- Information and advice concerning found wild animals
- Rehabilitation for injured or sick wild animals
- Sometimes able to provide live traps for wild animals
- Will facilitate referrals to larger wildlife rehabilitators
Accepts monetary donations, some items used in rehabilitation, and would take volunteers to help with transporting animals to and from their facility.
Calling in advance is highly recommended, as some animals can be helped best by keeping them where they are found and providing minimal assistance (sometimes taking an animal from its habitat and providing uninformed care can actually make things worse or cause irreparable harm)
To determine whether the animal needs to be helped: https://wildwoodsrehab.org/does-this-animal-need-help/
