- Day camps: Animal-themed summer day camp at the Animal Humane Society. Campers entering grades 3 - 10 spend a week immersed in animal learning and fun. - Mini day camps: Mini camps designed to provide educational activities for animal-loving kids on no-school days. Participants in these camps enjoy a variety of animal-related activities. - Shelter tours and classroom programs
This is an individualized program for the at-risk student who is self-motivated to complete high school graduation requirements. Success in this program is dependent upon attending on a regular basis, completing assignments and maintaining a steady rate of progress. Students meet once or twice a week (in groups of up to five) with their teacher(s) and then complete assignments on their own time

Free at Last is for youth ages 16 - 21 years. The program focuses on teaching independent living skills through experiential education, teamwork, and individual counseling. Participants attend weekly group meetings, take part in community service projects and attend outdoor challenge activities. Eligible youth may also be assisted with housing needs when they have exited care.

Helps older adolescents who "age out" of out-of-home placement prepare for the transition to independent living. Group meets twice a month during the school year and weekly in the summer. Program provides: - Budgeting assistance and education - Career exploration and vocational assessment - College application fees - Driver's training - Employment skills training - Financial assistance for damage and utility deposits, or rent on apartments or dormitory rooms (only for youth who "age out" of placement at age 18 or older) - Group and individual life skills training - Household supplies for a first apartment - Retreats and wilderness trips
-Offers an intensive outpatient program either in one of the facilities or in a virtual telehealth environment. - Program includes group therapy, supported meals, nutrition counseling, experiential therapy, and a family group. Separate groups for adults and adolescents. - This level of care offers support for those stepping down from IDP/PHP or those starting off who need more structure than non-intensive outpatient treatment. Clients typically spend up to 12 hours per week in programming.

Children's mental health residential treatment is a 24-hour-a-day program under the clinical supervision of a mental health professional, in a community setting, other than an acute care hospital or regional treatment center inpatient unit. This benefit is available for all eligible children placed in residential treatment by counties for whom the service is medically necessary.

- Day Camp Ages 4 - 14: Provides fun and challenging activities in both small and large group settings. Campers can check out camp and still come home each night. Eight day camp locations around the metro area: Lakeville, Lino Lakes, Long Lake, Loretto, Monticello, Mound, Rochester, and Rosemount, Minnesota and Hudson, Wisconsin - Overnight Ages 7-17: Campers get a well-rounded experience with activities like horseback riding, swimming, ropes, kayaking, and camp fires. 3 - 26 day and single gender sessions are available. Four overnight camp locations in Eveleth and Loretto, MN and Amery and Hudson, WI - Teen Wilderness Ages 11-18: Campers start in base camp then head out on canoeing, backpacking and rock climbing trips. Sessions range from 5 days to 1 month or more. Two locations Grand Marais and Ely, Minnesota. - Family Camp All Ages: Families get away and come together through opportunities for growth, spiritual development and environmental awareness. YMCA Camp du Nord is located on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Camp Northern Lights on the edge of the Superior National Forest. - Outdoor learning programs that can be tailored to group size, program lengths, and curriculum. Also provides learning opportunities delivered through special events. Financial assistance and/or scholarships available

These programs are for youth who have nowhere else to turn for help to find employment, complete their education, and who need support to move forward. Services include paid internships, tuition to train for a new career, help finishing school or getting a GED, help with job hunting, and transportation assistance (such as bus fare cards). Participants in Avivo's youth and young adult employment programs can also access short-term credentialed training options for higher-wage jobs, such as: - Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) - Forklift Operator, including Forklift Operators Certification - Culinary Arts and ServSafe certifications - Enrollment opportunities in credentialed training at Avivo Institute of Career and Technical Education
