When an enrollee wanders, the caregiver notifies local law enforcement and a search is initiated using trained and certified tracking personnel. MICC's College Program is a three-year opportunity for accepted participants to live on-campus in an apartment with their peers to learn independent living skills, vocational skills, and social skills. Students are assessed on their growth and mastery of skills over the course of the three-year program, which takes a step-down approach to instruction, to prepare students for a high level of independence upon graduation.
