Equipment provided includes, but is not limited to: - Hands-free speaker phones - Light flashing ringers - Loud ringers - Phones for individuals who have a speech impairment - Phones that enable users to read the callers words on a screen and respond by using their own voice - Special equipment for people who are deafblind - Phones that can make sound louder and clearer - TTYs ? The TED Program will repair or replace equipment that is not working properly or no longer meets the client's needs. If a person is not eligible based on income the TED program can share where they can purchase devices.

Services are also provided to children of deaf adults (CODA). Services may also be provided via telehealth. Provides a comprehensive low vision evaluation to assess how vision loss impacts all areas of a person's life. The assessment allows Vision Loss Resources to give recommendations on lighting, training, and devices. Deaf-Blind Adults and Children: Provides one-on-one support to people with combined hearing and vision loss, from birth through adulthood Older Adults: Provides in-home assessments and individualized training to help seniors stay independent and age in place Professionals and Caregivers: Provides hands-on trainings and informative presentations for a workplace, senior residence, civic group, or community center Working-age Adults and Young Adults Transitioning Out of High School: Provides comprehensive vision rehabilitation training to help individuals adapt and thrive at home, work, or school. Classes include orientation and mobility, technology, typing, Braille, tasks of daily living, cooking, and more.

- Books on sexual abuse and physical abuse written for deaf and hard of hearing children - Comprehensive mental health services for deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind people. Services also offered at Hennepin County Mental Health Center one afternoon a week. Some services offered in greater Minnesota through video conferencing. Deaf Crisis Line/Disaster Distress Helpline: Provides a 24 hour/7 days a week free, confidential crisis helpline utilizing videophone and American Sign Language (ASL). Also offers texting. - Deaf Crisis Line: Supports individuals who are facing a variety of challenges and are victims of crimes including survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, mental health challenges, and more. - Disaster Distress Hotline: Supports callers who have been affected by natural or man-made disasters. Crisis Interpreting: Supports individuals with trauma-sensitive American Sign Language interpreting that mitigates retraumatizing the survivor and adds an extra layer of sensitivity. Also provides training on trauma-informed interpreting and mental health interpreting. Victim Services: Provides services to deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and late-deafened victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and crime and their families, including: - Advocacy - legal, medical, and personal? - Counseling - Case management - Crisis intervention - 24 hour/7 days a week deaf crisis line - Emotional support - Trauma-Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) - Interpreting services
