ECFE is a parenting education program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to Kindergarten entrance. Learning opportunities through ECFE may occur in a variety of settings, such as the families' homes, district or community sites, and online parenting education and support. Programming and education services often include parents/caregivers and children but may just include parents/caregivers.

- Preschool programs (creative, recreational, and socialization) for children ages 3 - 5 including basketball, ballet dancing instruction, jazz dancing instruction, track and field, tennis, hiking, musical instrument instruction, and day camps - Youth programs for children ages 6 - 12 including field trips, playgrounds with birthday parties, classes, fishing, and special events - Teen programs for teens ages 13 - 17 such as field trips and special events - Adult sports providing recreational league play for basketball, boot hockey, broomball, flag football, sand volleyball, soccer, softball, volleyball, and wiffleball - Senior activities and recreational opportunities including bingo, craft projects, quilting group, book clubs, monthly potlucks and speakers, and field trips - Family programs available to help parents and children explore and have fun as a family - Banquet and meeting facilities available at Eagan Community Center - Group fitness classes, running track, gymnasium, and weight training available at Eagan Community Center - Ice hockey and public skating available at Eagan Civic Arena - Retreat center available at Moonshine Park 1317 Jurdy Road - Cartooning, ceramics, drawing, jewelry making, painting, and sculpting classes at Eagan Art House - Fitness facility at Eagan Community Center - Accepts passport applications - Dog park at Thresher Fields Park 3200 Brochert Lane features open spaces and lake access. The area is fenced in and includes a separate area for smaller dogs. - Adapted therapeutic sports programs for children ages 6 - 13 with autism and physical disabilities - Cascade Bay Water Park - Safety camp for children with information about fire safety, fire prevention, personal safety, and how to play it safe in everyday situations. Other day camps also available. - Walking program

Community-Based Residential Homes - Advocacy - Community involvement - Nursing and support therapies - Respite support Family Support Services-FSS Offers opportunities for greater personal growth for people with disabilities in their homes and in the community through: - Community involvement - Lifetime skills training - Personal needs training - Recreation/leisure activities - Social activities In-Home Support Program For individuals who have a disability and still live in their family's home or in foster care. Individuals receiving services have 1:1 staffing. Flexible based on individual needs. Services are provided in the family home, at a Hiawatha location or elsewhere in the community. Activities are customized to the individual's wants and needs. Examples of activities are similar to those of the LEEP program, but may also include: - Assistance in getting up and ready for school/work - Assistance with homework - Participation in evening or weekend leisure activities Life Enrichment and Exploration Program - LEEP For older school aged youth and adults who have disabilities. Programs runs Monday - Friday after school, non-school days, after day programs and during the summer. Provides a supervised environment with structured learning and recreational activities. Activities may include: - Crafts and cooking - Domestic training - Personal safety training - Social skills training - Summer field trips Respite Offers temporary care within the community based homes for individuals whose caregivers may need a helping hand. This is offered to individuals who are currently living at home but on occasion the families may need a break. This offers families the opportunity to spend some quality time with their other children, covers assistance in family emergencies, gives families an opportunity to travel for work or leisure, and assures the families that their child is safe and is enjoying their time away also.
