Hope House Men's Program - Hope House - Grand Rapids

Hope House provides Residential MI/CD Treatment for adult men. Our 90 day, three-phase program, will address the needs of our clients by providing treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues concurrently. - Group therapy and one-to-one sessions (15 hours per week) - "Recovery Coach" Services begin in phase III, and will continue after discharge - On-Site mental health professional for MH therapy and diagnostic assessments - CNP available for medical appointments and medication management services

Growing Kinship Connection (GKC) - Family Rise Together

Program aims to reduce risk factors and increases protective factors for children and youth by: - Connecting children with positive adults (Kin caregivers) - Educating and providing resources to relatives to navigate the complex system - Increase formal and informal placement with relatives and paternal family - Provide culturally specific training, such as 24/7 Dad's AM/PM curriculum, etc. - Provide equitable case management services Services including: - Education: Helps educate and empower families to better navigate the complexities of the system. Provides resources that focus on navigating the court system and becoming a better parent, with an emphasis on fathers/father figures. - Family Mentorship: Program replaces traditional case management by recognizing the oppression built into "managing family affairs". Mentors work with alongside families to educate, provide resources (i.e. swag bags, resource guides), and nurture familial bonds for improving the well-being of children and families. This service is currently offered in Saint Louis County. - National Relative Search: Offers a relative search service to GKC families actively working with. This allows the family mentor to identify possible relatives across state lines to determine possible placement options and nurture familial connections. - Support Groups: Provides a peer-to-peer support, for fathers and male care givers in south Saint Louis County

Information and referral on life's issues and legal needs Library for members: - Topics of Men's issues: Relationships, health, psychological, and sexuality - Book loan and reference/information Family Law Clinics targeted to the needs of men and women regarding: - Divorce or dealing with other family law issues - Clinic held 7 pm - 9 pm 1st Wednesday of each month Issue presentations are offered each Wednesday on: - Parenting - Anger - Health and addiction - Job satisfaction - Sexuality: relationships, sexual orientation and masculinity - Spirituality Men Talk newsletter and on-line Resource Directory on Website 12 session anger management class: "Men Helping Men With Anger" - For men who desire to improve their relationships at home and at work - All anger management classes hybrid, meaning the participants may attend in person or online. In person is recommended - Alumni groups for men who have completed the class 12 Session Moving Toward Empowerment class - For men who have successfully completed the Men Helping Men With Anger class and want to deepen their learning. Men's Residential Inpatient Treatment Program - Project Turnabout - Addiction Recovery Centers

The men's residential inpatient treatment program serves adult men who are in need of treatment services. Length of stay will vary based on the needs of each patient. Services include: - 28-45 day stay in the residential program - Co-occurring treatment program with on-site mental health services 24 hours/7 days a week - Holistic care to help patients develop the skills to cope, find support systems, understand the relationship with addiction, and recovery - Work with a multidisciplinary team which includes licensed alcohol and drug counselors, mental health professionals, nursing professionals, personal fitness trainers, dieticians, and a chaplain - Referral to internal programs such as the Continuing Care for Alcohol and Drug Recovery Program, Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Program (DAPP), DWI Clinic, intensive outpatient alcohol and drug program, halfway house, sober living program, and online support network for men.

- Program objectives are to guide, support, and encourage alcoholic/chemically dependent men, coming from a primary treatment or hospital setting - The main focus is to help them find a comfortable balance physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally so that they can return to the community as a productive person - 6 bed facility - 24 hour staff - sweat lodge every Tuesday at 4:30 pm -AA Meeting on : Tuesday at 7 pm Wednesdays at 11 am Thursdays at 7 pm
