Men's Issues Education - Twin Cities Men's Center, The

Information and referral on life's issues and legal needs Library for members: - Topics of Men's issues: Relationships, health, psychological, and sexuality - Book loan and reference/information Family Law Clinics targeted to the needs of men and women regarding: - Divorce or dealing with other family law issues - Clinic held 7 pm - 9 pm 1st Wednesday of each month Issue presentations are offered each Wednesday on: - Parenting - Anger - Health and addiction - Job satisfaction - Sexuality: relationships, sexual orientation and masculinity - Spirituality Men Talk newsletter and on-line Resource Directory on Website 12 session anger management class: "Men Helping Men With Anger" - For men who desire to improve their relationships at home and at work - All anger management classes hybrid, meaning the participants may attend in person or online. In person is recommended - Alumni groups for men who have completed the class 12 Session Moving Toward Empowerment class - For men who have successfully completed the Men Helping Men With Anger class and want to deepen their learning. All classes are hybrid, meaning participants may attend in person or online.

LGBT National Hotline - Provides telephone, online private one-to-one chat, and email peer-support, as well as factual information and local resources for LGBT clients of all ages anywhere in the United States - Maintains a database with more than 15,000 local community groups, organizations, businesses, and professionals, and can link callers with services available in their community Youth LGBT Hotline (25 years old and younger) - Telephone, online private one-to-one chat, and email peer-support, as well as factual information for teens and young adults up to age 25 about coming-out issues, relationship concerns, parent issues, school problems, HIV/AIDS anxiety, and safer-sex information, and more; all services are free and confidential. LGBT Senior Hotline - Provides gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender seniors the ability to talk with trained peer-counselor volunteers about issues including isolation, relationship concerns, bullying, HIV/AIDS, and more. All services are free of charge, confidential, by email, phone, and website only

ConneQT Host Homes Program - Avenues for Youth

Provides a host home program and supportive services for youth who are marginalized and identify as LGBTQI+ in the Twin Cities metro area. It can take 3 - 6 months for someone to move into a host home. Program provides support for up to 1 year.

Provides support to families of the LGBTQ community and for parents who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer. Services include: - Books for parents and children - Legal and legislative advocacy. Tracks legislation at the federal and state levels on a range of issues. - Resource directory for family planning, including fertility clinics, midwives, and more - Resource library of articles for families to explore topics on adoption, parenting, and more - School advocacy and educational events - Speak Out program for opportunities to be connected to panels, workshops, media interviews, blog writing, policy work, and podcasts

- Provides age and situation appropriate education and training covering an array of topics related to LGBTQ+ equity for community organizations, service providers, community groups, and community members.
