Provides several treatment programs for adults who have a problem with substance use. Services include:

• Co-occurring program provided to adults with both substance use disorder and mental health diagnoses at the Oakdale location

• Group/individual outpatient treatment such as New Choices for Recovery Program. The program helps adults take action to change their thinking and behaviors to both prevent relapse and form a more positive relationship with themselves, others, and their community. Approaches include cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and 12-step support. Also addresses co-occurring mental health issues.

• Sober housing with permanent and supportive housing services to individuals who are homeless and single parents and their children in Forest Lake. The goal is to help parents and their children become self-sufficient and contributing members of the community.

• Bachelor Level Internship: Offers 6 program areas as an opportunity to gain hands on skills. Program areas consist of child welfare programs, children's mental health and aging services. Available for those receiving a degree in social work.

• First Year Field Experience: Family Service Rochester provides internship opportunities within our Aging Services, Family Access Center, and Place-Based Initiative programs. This internship is available for those receiving a degree in social work.

Master Level

• Clinical Master Level Internship/Clinical Academy: Family Service Rochester provides an internship experience where clinical master level students are offered hands-on experience to practice skills in several program modalities and settings

• Foundation Master Level Internship/Family Service Rochester Only: Offers 7 program areas as an opportunity to gain hands on skills. Available for individuals receiving a degree in social work.

ECFE is a parenting education program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to Kindergarten entrance. Learning opportunities through ECFE may occur in a variety of settings, such as the families' homes, district or community sites, and online parenting education and support. Programming and education services often include parents/caregivers and children but may just include parents/caregivers.

A library service available to rural residents, homebound individuals, and those who live in a city without a public library.?? Service features:

• Assisting with requests and receiving materials from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan

• Encouraging engagement and learning through multi-age summer and winter programs

• Issuing and updating patron library cards

• Lending and mailing books, audiobooks on CD, and videos on DVD

• Mailing two printed catalogs listing new additions to the collections to patrons

Assisted living facility that features:

• Cable TV access

• Emergency cord

• Light housekeeping

• Medication/treatment administration, medication reminders, and medication set-ups

• Personal laundry

• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy

• Supervision

• Three meals daily and coffee hour

• Towel and linen service

• Provides general information and licensing for persons interested in becoming foster care providers

• Training and support for foster care providers on emergency, short-term, and long-term placement

Provides cash assistance to help adults receiving Supplemental Security Income - SSI pay for their basic needs. Adults who are blind, have a disability, or are age 65 and older but don't qualify for SSI because of their income may still be eligible for MSA if they meet income requirements. The basic monthly MSA grant is calculated using either the Maximum SSI amount (Federal Benefit Rate) for the adult or their countable income (if they do not receive SSI), and the MSA standard set by state law. Special Needs Grant MSA also may provide special payments for adults who need:

• Certain home repairs

• Certain household furniture and appliances

• Guardian or conservator service fees

• Help paying for housing costs through MSA Housing Assistance

• Medically prescribed special diets

• Representative payee services

Adults who receive MSA are also eligible for help with medical, food, and housing costs through Medical Assistance - MA, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP, and MSA Housing Assistance programs.

WIC provides health assessment counseling including breastfeeding support, nutrition, food vouchers for specific nutritious foods, and referrals to community resources

Specialized and Whole Family Foster Care: Offers emergency, short-term, long-term, and whole-family foster services. Provides an intensive treatment program in a foster care environment for youth with specialized treatment needs. Provides support for at-risk parents. Skilled foster parents work with families to teach parenting skills through modeling parenting techniques, setting examples and providing education.

Funds may be available to prevent homelessness. Single adults and families who are past due on their ?housing expenses and need financial assistance to cover their first month's rent or keep their current housing can apply.

Provides financial assistance for income-eligible applicants for auto repairs. Will not cover costs to replace engines or transmissions.

Provides state-funded food assistance to legal noncitizens ages 50 or older who do not qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly called Food Stamps or Food Support) because of their citizenship status. Monthly benefits are loaded on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which looks and works like a debit card. • Registered nurse coordination and oversight of care

• Three meals per day and snacks available
