The Emergency and Accessibility Loan Program is available for home improvements addressing emergency conditions of the home or accessibility needs for a disabled household resident, subject to prior approval by Minnesota Housing.The maximum loan amount is $27,000. Loans are forgiven if the borrower does not sell, transfer title, or cease to occupy the property during the loan term. Various property types are eligible, including, but not limited to, single-family homes, duplexes, a condominium unit, and manufactured housing taxed as real or personal property.

Financial assistance can range from a reduction amount of the balance up to complete forgiveness of the balance outstanding, for patients demonstrating a financial need.Sanford partners with Elevate Patient Financial Solutions to provide financial assistance for uninsured patients who have incurred or will incur medical expenses at Sanford. Elevate provides a patient-focused approach identifying the most appropriate assistance from a variety of resources. Services provided are free.

Food shelf services

Provides investigation and intervention services on behalf of vulnerable adults who are unable to act on their own behalf, manage their own affairs, or are in immediate danger of abuse. Types of abuse may be physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, unsafe or hazardous living conditions, exploitation, neglect, or abandonment. Services include:- Taking reports and investigating abuse and/or maltreatment- Removal of the individual to safer surroundings- Services necessary to remove the conditions that have created a threat to life?NOTE: Complaints, questions, or concerns involving incidents in facilities licensed by the Health Department, such as hospitals, nursing homes, boarding care homes, supervised living facilities, assisted living, and home health agencies can be referred to the Minnesota Board on Aging Ombudsman for Long-Term Care.
