??T?he FAIM program provides working low-income Minnesotans to increase their savings, build assets, and enter the financial mainstream. The program is a matched savings project to help participants purchase a first home, pursue higher education, launch a small business, or purchase a vehicle.Participants in the program deposit up to $84 monthly from their earned income into a Family Asset Account (custodial savings account). Participants have up to 24 months to save their earnings and may be matched by the program rate of 3:1 upon successful completion of their contract. All participants are also required to complete a 12-hour Financial Literacy course and 10 hours of asset-specific training.

Also provide services to children, assist families with support, advocacy, transition, and maintenance of skills.Respite CareServices provide short-term relief from the demands which around-the-clock care places upon families who have disabled and/or chronically ill family members at home. Services are provided in the client's home or in a licensed foster home. Trained staff assume the care of these individuals for a matter of hours or days to allow the families time for rest and recreation.Semi-Independent Living ServicesDesigned for persons living in their own home or apartment who require minimal supervision. Individual programs are tailored to provide assistance & training in paying bills, building socialization skills, accessing the community in which he or she lives.Supported Living Servicesclass="pasteContent_RTE">Provides residential services in homes for 1-4 persons. Programs provide up to 24-hour supervision. With increased structure and support, individuals are taught skills that will increase their use of community resources and enable them to live in a less restrictive environment.

Operates two free food markets available to shoppers twice per month that provide a supply of food that changes depending on donations (quantities are based on household size). Each market usually includes fresh produce, bread, refrigerator and dairy items, canned and boxed foods, cultural-specific items (Hmong, Latino, East African), frozen meat, and staple items.Emergency bags are available on a walk-in basis once per month and include pre-packed grocery bag of dry/canned goods, one meat option, and one bag of cold items (milk, eggs, produce, etc.)

Supportive housing for adults in recovery from substance use disorder

The Child Support Division assists with:- Adjusting court orders based on the cost-of-living index- Collecting and processing payments- Establishing parentage- Establishing and enforcing court orders for child support, medical support, and child care support- Locating parents- Reviewing and modifying court orders for support- Works with other states to enforce support when one parent does not live in MinnesotaMinnesota Child Support Online: an interactive website developed by the State of Minnesota to provide child support participants with information about their case(s).NOTE: Either parent of a child may get certain child support services. Parents who do not receive public assistance can apply for services at their county child support office for a one-time $25 service fee. Parents who receive public assistance for a child whose other parent does not live with them are automatically referred for services and are not charged a service fee.

Provides legal advice, advocacy, and representation to immigrants seeking help with issues related to family violence, adjustment of status, and citizenship. Services include:- Assist victims of crime, domestic violence, and human trafficking in their applications for immigration status- Defend detained immigrants in deportation proceedings- Help medically vulnerable people obtain or improve their status so that they can better access medical insurance- Help people apply for certain types of permanent residency- Offer brief advice and limited representation at community clinics- Provide full representation for permanent residents applying for citizenship- Represent immigrant youth and seniors in a wide array of application types

The goal is to develop skills, reduce competing behaviors, and enhance educational efforts in the lives of the individual and families affected by Autism-Spectrum Disorders. Services include:- Applied Behavior Analysis- Diagnostic and Comprehensive Behavioral Assessment- Parent and Staff Training- Treatment Planning

Assists patients in resolving their account balance if they cannot be paid in full.- Bank Loan: Co-signed by Olmsted Medical Center and provided at 0% interest. Balance owed must be greater than $250. Loan cannot be applied to cosmetic services. - Extended Payments: Monthly payments based upon the total balance - Financial Assistance: Offered to individuals who are unable to pay for their medical services. Eligibility is based upon household income and assets as well as the number of people in the household against current guidelines.

ECFE is a parenting education program for all Minnesota families with children between the ages of birth to Kindergarten entrance. Learning opportunities through ECFE may occur in a variety of settings, such as the families' homes, district or community sites, and online parenting education and support. Programming and education services often include parents/caregivers and children but may just include parents/caregivers.
