  • Offers birthday parties for children. Children make an art project (they can choose a theme or staff can design something just for them) that each child gets to bring home. Themes include Acrylic Painting on Canvas, Clay Sculpture/Hand-Built Pottery, Polymer Clay Sculpture and Watercolor Painting. Each party is 90 minutes of art and 30 minutes for cake and presents. Adults must provide cake, refreshments and any other snacks.
  • Private art events can be scheduled. People can bring their own beverage of choice and snacks to enjoy over the 3 hours party. Art materials are provided. Using a step-by-step method, individuals can create their own piece of art.

Adults must use their own money first. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help. Emergency General Assistance provides short-term, one-time assistance for persons in a financial crisis because of fire, flood, storm, illness, accident, theft, utility shut-off, eviction, foreclosure, moving expense, necessary home repairs, or need for furniture or appliance replacement or repair.

  • Adult Supervision Programs: Provides several different types of supervision programs for adults, ranging from enhanced supervision programs, intensive, low-level, pre-trial, sex offender supervision, supervised release, traditional supervision placed on probation, and transfer of probation supervision
  • Adult and Juvenile Community Service Work (CSW): Court-ordered volunteer work with local non-profits, community-based, or government organizations
  • Adult and Juvenile Electronic Monitoring: Services are provided under a contractual arrangement with Midwest Monitoring and Surveillance. The program is intended to offer the court an alternative between traditional probation and jail for adults or placement of juveniles in residential or custodial settings.

Provides cash assistance to help adults receiving Supplemental Security Income - SSI pay for their basic needs. Adults who are blind, have a disability, or are age 65 and older but don't qualify for SSI because of their income may still be eligible for MSA if they meet income requirements. The basic monthly MSA grant is calculated using either the maximum SSI amount (Federal Benefit Rate) for the adult or their countable income (if they do not receive SSI), and the MSA standard set by state law. Special Needs Grant MSA also may provide special payments for adults who need:
