- The Building Inspector interprets, administers and enforces the City Building Code and Plumbing Code, which are based upon the State of MN Building Code and Plumbing Code. - The primary objective of the Building Official is to work with citizens, business owners, contractors, etc. to help them understand the importance of building codes and to help them incorporate the Code Provisions into their respective building projects. - Health and Safety: Volunteers are needed to be an integral part of teaching lifesaving skills. Volunteers teach hands-only CPR.
