Emergency Housing Services - Tri-Valley Opportunity Council
Provides short-term help for low-income households who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Direct financial assistance may include foreclosure payments, rent payments, rent subsidies, security deposits, first month's rent, utility payments, or other assistance to prevent eviction.
Minimal assistance is also available for food, child care, transportation, and work clothing and supplies. The purpose of these programs is to stabilize families in their home or re-house families that are homeless.

Shopping is done in the in-person choice model or via a pre-packaged non-choice selection provided through the Market drive-thru option. Food can be accessed once a month per household. Emergency bags are also available.
- Market Express is an express drive-thru food pick-up on specific dates throughout the month. Food package includes 3-4 day supply including meat, dairy, produce, and dry goods (contents may vary). Visit website for schedule, times, and to sign up.

Emergency Services - Salvation Army - Sherburne County
Emergency assistance is available once every twelve months and considered on a case-by-case basis for the following, unless otherwise noted:
- Clothing vouchers
- Food voucher (first-come first first-served)
- Formula and/or diaper vouchers
- Gas vouchers are available once every six months on a case-by-case basis
- Limited Family Permanent Supportive Housing
- Limited rental assistance available (first-come first first-served)
- Prescription expense assistance
- Shelter services go through Twin Cities offices
- School supplies available seasonally
- Vehicle repair

Emergency Assistance - Hometown Resource Center
The Hometown Resource Center may provide emergency assistance with food, clothing and shelter. The center offers a one-time rent payment assistance. In extreme crisis situations and only when funding is available, the center may provide motel vouchers (for short-term stays only). The center may provide gas cards for people needing to get to work or important appointments (on a case by case basis). Gas cards are not available for people with Medicare or Medicaid (because they have other options for transportation). Staff may also provide information and referral to other community resources for people.

(Requests from outside of the county will not necessarily be denied) The purpose of Salvation Army is to provide moral and spiritual support, material goods, food, shelter, and transportation for those unable to provide for themselves. Every situation is reviewed individually Conditions of service:
- Will maintain anonymity and confidentiality
- Will require name, address and Social Security number in order to provide ANY services.
- If a person doesn't have a Social Security card, a driver's license may be acceptable. Also see "Transient Policy"
