Cash-grant program for adults with low incomes experiencing a household emergency. The assistance received must resolve the crisis. Adults must use their own money first. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help. Short-term, one-time per year grant assistance for persons in a financial crisis due to evictions, utility disconnections, or other crisis/emergency situations. The grant is provided in the form of direct payment to the vendor, for assisting with the following expenses:

• Car Repair and Expenses
• Mortgage
• Moving Expenses
• Property Taxes
• Rent Payment
• Rental/Utility Deposit
• Utilities

Assistance may depend based on availability of funds per season. NOTE: Client may also be eligible for Emergency Assistance, and/or Emergency Medical Assistance.

Cash-grant program for families with low incomes experiencing household emergencies. Families can receive assistance once every 18 months. The assistance received must resolve the crisis. Families must use their own money first. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help. Family emergency assistance, for evictions including first month's rent and/or damage deposit; utility disconnect; car repair for employment purposes; foreclosures; and other shelter related expenses, such as moving expenses, mortgage and property taxes. Maximum amount of assistance provided is $99 for shelter and $700 for utilities.
