Education and Training Vouchers - Minnesota Department of Human Services
The program provides up to $5,000 per school year to help students under the age of 26 who have aged out of foster care for post-secondary education at a college, university, vocational, technical, or trade school.
The Minnesota Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program provides the funds. The money does not need to be paid back. The funding can go towards tuition and fees, student books, housing, child care, transportation, other school-related costs, or living expenses. Eligible applicants need to follow the grant application process.
