The MHCP Member Help Desk provides information and referral services to persons who are on Minnesota's Health Care Programs: Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare. Provides information about applications, eligibility, health care policy, benefits, access to providers, authorizations, and claims. Refers callers to appropriate county and state agencies for specialized information on services.

Provides application assistance for any adult enrolling in any public assistance program in Minnesota. Assists individuals with identifying and applying for support with food, utilities, healthcare, and more. Additional services include: - Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (EAP) - Rent assistance - Prescription savings programs - Medicaid/Medical assistance - Medicare Part D Extra Help/Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) - Medicare Savings Program - Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP)/Food Stamps - MNSure

Certified MNSure navigator to assist with applications and renewals. Assistance with MA and MNCare anytime during the year.

Provides information on available resources and how to access the following: - Advocacy - Assistance accessing resources and programs, including care coordination for UCare seniors and UCare Connect Special Needs Basic Care (CSNBC) - Information about area resources for seniors, including financial assistance programs, Medicare program education, and Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Provide online support group information and resources for individuals living with Alzheimer's or other dementias and caregivers

One-to-one assistance including assistance filling out forms for people and families in accessing health care programs for which they may be eligible. Advocacy and assistance in applying for Minnesota's Health Care Programs including MinnesotaCare, Medical Assistance, and other MNsure programs. MNsure Navigators help individuals and families apply and enroll into health plans through the MNsure marketplace. Referrals to community services and other health care programs for immediate needs.
