Provides information about applications, eligibility, health care policy, benefits, access to providers, authorizations, and claims.Refers callers to appropriate county and state agencies for specialized information on services.
UPDATE: People with Medical Assistance can now find out if they will need to meet 2027 federal work reporting requirements passed in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Individuals can use the new online tool to get information about their Minnesota Health Care Program renewal and find their renewal month. Visit the new online tool: https://mnrenewallookup.com/. The tool is available to report possible exemptions from work requirements or qualifying activities to meet requirements. Work requirement information can be found here at https://mn.gov/dhs/federalchanges/work-requirements/.
Starting January 1, 2027, some individuals may need to meet new work requirements to get or keep Medical Assistance health insurance. This change applies to adults ages 21 - 64 who do not have dependent children, are not pregnant, are not eligible for Medicare, and do not qualify for Medical Assistance due to a disability.
