Offers services that are evidence-based practice models by addressing both mental health and substance use through collaborative treatment plans. Prevention 4 Teens is an education-based substance use prevention program for youth who are experiencing problems associated with alcohol or other drug use but do not meet diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder or more formal interventions. Offers guidance, education, and support for families through two sessions with a counselor.

Designed to help individuals address issues with substance use disorder. Programs are confidential and individualized, and offered multiple days per week, in both the morning and evening, to accommodate people with different schedule needs. All Mental Illness/Chemical Dependency programs vary in length and may be offered in short, medium and long-term formats ranging from 15 - 40 weeks. Many programs are gender-specific and vary by location. Outpatient and IOP Program Meets four times a week and has groups in both the mornings and evenings. Red Wing and Winona Outpatient locations also offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) with housing for male and female residents. The IOP with housing program meets four times per week to support clients in their recovery. Rochester Outpatient location also offers intensive outpatient program (IOP) without housing.

Offers a wide range of mental health and substance abuse services such as: - Adult Day Treatment: An intensive day treatment program for individuals who are newly diagnosed or experience an increase in symptoms from prolonged illness. Group meets three days per week for 3 hours each day. Individuals needs are assessed to determine placement in one of ten specialty tracks. - Mental Health Emergency Services: Assists in behavioral emergencies, assess, stabilize, and offer next steps recommendations - Mental Health Inpatient Treatment: Provides 24 hours/7 days a week care, acute crisis assessment, focused intervention, and discharge planning - Mental Health Outpatient Treatment: Provides comprehensive mental health services for anyone struggling with a variety of mental health symptoms. Individuals work with a team of psychotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses. Provides education to individuals by teaching healthy coping skills, therapy and practices for mental health wellness. - Mental Illness and Substance Abuse: A day treatment program that is abstinence-based. Group meets Monday through Friday for three hours each day for about 6-8 weeks. Services include regular follow-up with a physician who specializes in mental health and addiction medicine. - Partial Hospitalization: An intensive short-term program for individuals with anxiety and/or depression. Groups meet five hours a day, five days a week, for about 2-3 weeks. Individuals will have regular follow up with a psychiatrist. - Senior Mental Health Inpatient Treatment: Offers a treatment program for older adults - 55+ Day Treatment: Provides treatment to people experiencing mental health symptoms for the first time or those with a longer history of mental illness. Groups meet twice each week for four hours each day. NOTE: This is not a dementia or recreational program.

Clients will need to have a substance use evaluation to determine the level of treatment they need. Additional services offered: - Co-occurring disorders treatment program - Group counseling to gain perspective, connection, and healing - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): A treatment option for adults ages 18 and older who need more intensive services toward recovery while continuing to live at home, work, and be active in the community - Substance Use Assessment and Counseling: Provides a comprehensive substance use assessment to establish the type and severity of the substance use disorder diagnosis. Also, offers one-on-one counseling with a licensed alcohol and drug counselor for adolescents and adults.

This program follows national guidelines for IDDT and uses a DBT curriculum specially adapted and researched for dual disorders. The IDD DBT program meets three days weekly at the Edina (West Metro) and Woodbury (East Metro) locations.
