Equine Assisted Psychotherapy - Acres for Life Therapy and Wellness Center

- Provides an experience for clients to work with horses in a variety of facilitated activities on the ground - no prior horse experience necessary. Sessions are facilitated by mental health professionals and equine specialists, and are targeted to specific client treatment goals. - Offers individual and group sessions in the areas of mental health and wellness support services, addictions recovery, family support services, military support services, youth/adolescent support services, community support services, teams, and learning opportunities - School group, corporate team building, etc. and other opportunities are also available for participation

Grief Support - Bri's Lodge

Services include: - Companioning: Grief companions provide a space for individuals to share their feelings in response to their profound loss. Companioning is anchored in respecting and exploring the uniqueness of loss while allowing individuals to share their grief and how it impacts them. - Events: Angel of Hope Candlelit Vigils, Annual Garage Sale, Evening of Hope, Horses Healing Hearts, and Kruzin for Bri's Lodge. - General Loss Support Groups: Offers a safe place for people to share their journey after the loss of their loved one. All groups will provide an experience where feelings, worries, problems, and joys can be expressed and received freely without judgment. This group is open to anyone with a loss of someone. ?- Grief retreats: Provides a place where individuals and families can come together to find peace and solace, a place where they can connect with others who are grieving a similar loss. For different types of loss such as: - Loss by Suicide - Older Child Loss - Perinatal Loss - Miscarriage and stillbirth - Sibling Loss - Adult - Spousal Loss - For older and younger - Younger Child Loss Horses Healing Hearts: In collaboration with Angel Reins Stable, this program happens once a month. Provides a grief equine assisted activities program where grieving individuals can go for hope and healing. Individuals will be able to go to the stables at Angels Reins to connect with the horses. Whether that is through petting them, brushing them or just being in their presence. People of all ages are eligible to register.

Ranch Services - Rock Ranch

- Counseling/Psychotherapy: Therapeutic services using an equine specialist, horses, and a licensed therapist. Enables clients to learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with the horses and then processing feelings, behaviors, and patterns. Adaptive Riding: Provides adaptive riding and tier 2 adaptive riding is taught by PATH Certified Riding Instructors or therapists specialized to teach riding lessons to clients living with disabilities. Tier 2 adaptive riders are provided with additional levels of support to meet their individual needs.?? Hippotherapy Experiences: Provides hippotherapy in the purposeful manipulation of equine movement as a therapy tool to engage sensory, neuromotor, and cognitive systems to promote functional outcomes. Horsemanship Experiences: Horsemanship experiences are dependent on the individual and may include riding a horse with staff assistance, or it may include interacting with a horse in other ways including petting, feeding, or grooming.
