• City of Cook Economic Recovery Fund: Loan for local business in the city of Cook who are recovering from the summer 2024 flood

• Gap Financing: Loan covers the "gap" between various sources of funding and the total cost of the project. Used for commercial real estate projects, such as mortgage or major renovation and has more flexibility than traditional lenders

• Healthy Food Fund: Specialized loan for local food retailers and producers that helps with replacing dated equipment, investing in technology, expanding business, purchasing inventory, hiring staff, updating building, purchasing new or existing store, and more

• SBA Microloan: Start up loan for working capital, inventory, or equipment purchase

• Working Capital Loan: Loan provides access to cash for various projects and investments such as marketing campaigns, purchased inventory, upgrade equipment, or expand business operation.

Assists clients with mental illness by providing services including case management, referrals to community mental health and outreach programs, day treatment programs, and coordination with residential treatment facilities. Also provides pre-screenings for judicial commitment when a petitioner comes forward who is willing to testify about a family member or loved one who is in imminent danger of harm to self or others due to mental health and/or chemical dependency issues.

Provides information on managing waste, recycling, hazardous materials, and other environmental services. Additonal services include:

• Needles, syringes, lancets, and other medical sharps disposal. Syringes or EpiPens with liquid remaining in them should be disposed of at the Medicine Collection Program drop-off locations.

Municipal fire services

Provides recovery housing at various locations for men, women, and LGBTQ2+ identifying individuals in recovery from substance abuse. Offers support, structure, and resources that encourage long-term recovery to those who are transitioning back into the community.

The Energy Assistance Program helps pay heat and electricity costs. Payments for energy bills are sent directly to the household's energy company or fuel provider for propane, fuel oil, or wood. Financial assistance varies depending on household income and fuel costs. The Energy Assistance Program provides additional grants for eligible households who need help with:

• Getting reconnected to heat and power after disconnections
• Paying for emergency fuel deliveries of propane, heating oil, or biofuel
• Preventing disconnection
• Providing emergency heating system repair or replacement for homeowners
• Weatherization services to both homeowners and renters to reduce home energy consumption and costs for eligible households by improving the energy efficiency in homes

Provides investigative and intervention services for child abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment. Services include:

• Accepts reports of abuse

• Assessment of the initial referral

• Consultation with individuals who suspect abuse

• Consultation with the family to determine the nature of the problem

• Dependency investigation

• Explanation of reporting statutes and answer questions regarding agency practices

• Ongoing support services for children and their families

• Refers to the Family Resources program to assist families with basic parenting and referrals to other related programs regarding Indian Child Welfare programs

• Family: Includes dissolution, custody, support, paternity, domestic abuse, and adoption cases

• Juvenile: Cases involving minors under the age of 18 who are involved in delinquency, termination of parental rights, truancy, status offenses, runaway, and children in need of protection, and some traffic offenses

• Probate: Supervised and unsupervised probating of estates of decedents, guardianships of minors and adults, conservatorships, and commitments for mental illness or chemical dependency

Provides awareness, information, and referrals to connect Minnesota's waiting children to foster and adoptive families. Includes the State Adoption Exchange, an online photo listing of Minnesota children in need of families. Also provides workshops and education on attachment, trauma, transracial adoption, parenting, and other topics relevant to foster, adoptive, and kinship families.

Works to meet the needs of families with children "at risk" for out-of home placement through individual and family counseling in the home.

• Imagination Stations: From September - April, the Sky classroom is open for children ages 2-5 years old and their parents to play together in self-directed play, crafts, sensory activities, and more

Provides temporary financial assistance for refugees and eligible entrants while they are in the process of resettling in the United States. NOTE: Able-bodied RCA recipients are required to participate in an employment and training program. RCA recipients who are disabled or 65 years of age or older are required to apply for SSI.

Provides a variety of individual, group, and organizational training to help educate and raise awareness about various topics. Services include:

• Community awareness opportunities to provide information at community events, public spaces, and resource fairs

• Educational presentations to fit the needs of community partners regarding abuse, body safety, domestic violence, exploitation, healthy relationships, human trafficking, and sexual violence

• Professional training topics on child abuse, domestic violence, roles of an advocate, sexual exploitation, trafficking, and victims' rights

Provides a farmer stand between June through October on the Midtown Greenway. Offers fresh, pesticide-free produce available to those in need. Individuals can take as many items as they need and pay as much as they can afford.
