Adoption services provide full and limited domestic infant adoptions to birth parents and adoptive families. Offers home study services for embryo adoption. Types of adoption services may include open, semi-open, and closed. Individual and group education to prepare for adoptive parenting is available. Seminars include topics such as openness, transracial parenting, and post adoption. Post Adoption Services may include: Referrals to counseling or therapy services Ongoing assistance with adoptive relationships and in-person contact Search and reunion services Adoption file information such as social and medical history

Offers mental health rehabilitation services to help affected individuals recover to the point where they can manage their lives. These services assist and support recipients in developing skills in areas such as community resource utilization, medication monitoring, symptom management, use of transportation, household management, and many others.

Provides general information and licensing for persons interested in becoming foster care providers. Training and support for foster care providers on emergency, short-term, and long-term placement.

Provides nutrition education and special foods which promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding and post-partum women with infants and/or children up to age five including:

• Assistance with any special needs

Employment programs with the goal of getting individuals started on a career path that will be sustainable for themselves and/or their families in order to increase their overall well-being. Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP): Employment and supportive services for low-income families transitioning off of public assistance or to avoid dependence on welfare benefits. Comprehensive job placement program which helps public assistance recipients in Benton, Dakota, Hennepin, and Stearns counties obtain the services they need to become self-supporting. Avivo offers a program to young parents, ages 18 - 26, to overcome barriers to employment and provide intensive case management and weekly job search groups.

Partner families work in partnership with Habitat by providing "sweat equity" and purchasing their homes through an affordable mortgage. The mortgage payments are put back into a revolving fund to build with more families in need in the community. Families must qualify for the program by demonstrating their need for housing, their willingness to partner, and their ability to repay an affordable mortgage. Thrive An after-school and out-of-school program that nurtures the whole child through cultural awareness, educational enrichment, healthy meals, physical activity, homework help, and leadership development. Thrive also emphasizes relationship-building with caring young adults from the community, social-emotional learning, and teamwork. Kids Club A service-learning initiative that introduces children to the value of helping others through age-appropriate community projects. Cool Off Days A summer enrichment program that promotes social and intellectual growth through hands-on learning, field trips, and physical activities in a fun and engaging environment. ? Provides support to family caregivers of adults who are chronically ill or disabled by offering information and referral assistance, educational presentations, a caregiver resource lending library, and self-care guidance. Connects caregivers with Senior Friendship volunteers who provide companionship and respite support to those caring for a loved one.

Community Support Program (CSP) helps people to maintain functioning in their homes or community. Services are provided individually or in groups by one of the following staff: mental health practitioner, mental health worker, or certified peer specialist. Peer mentoring services provides help with problem-solving, goal setting, social skills, and community integration; peer mentors can provide feedback, advocacy, support, and role modeling. Services available 1:1 or in a group setting. Services are provided by a person who has a lived experience with a mental health diagnosis. Peer Mentoring is offered through the CSP in Big Stone, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, and Swift counties.
