The program is a voluntary, early intervention program that focuses on a family's strengths and needs through support systems. Once enrolled in the Parent Support Outreach Program, help is provided to at-risk families to avoid future incidents of child maltreatment and to enhance child and family well-being, including:

• Comprehensive assessments, early intervention, outreach, support, and therapeutic services

• Connecting families with county and community-based services

• Family circle meetings and support

• Limited financial assistance for families to meet basic needs

Offers curriculum-based camp experience in interactive environment.

Helps children with severe emotional disturbance and their families obtain needed mental health, medical, social, educational, and vocational services within the community. Case managers meet with clients and their families at a variety of community locations, including residences that are convenient and easily accessible for those involved in the program.

Provides multiple programs to help reduce isolation and create culturally inclusive spaces for elders. Conversations and Coffee: A cross generational weekly event for elders to connect with one another and get in tune with what's going on in their neighborhoods. Program includes:

• Elder Tablet Program: Provides the elder members tablets and training on technology and having meaningful conversations together. Program offers home visits to drop off the tablet and teach them how to get connected. Tech support is provided while they have the tablet.

• Elders Advocacy Program: Offers a comprehensive advocacy service tailored to the unique needs of the elder members. Support ranges from groceries to travel and medical assistance, and providing a helping hand in various areas.

Career Pathways: Provides youth ages 14 - 24 who have faced systemic barriers to employment the opportunity to be introduced into the workforce by getting an internship at the YMCA. Beacons: Provides after-school and summer care for young people in grades K - 12 by partnering with Twin Cities area schools to provide quality educational, recreational, and leadership development activities and eliminate barriers to participation. Center for Youth Voice: Provides programs and services that help young people understand our system of government and how to effectively use their voice to take action on issues that matter to them. Teen Tech Center: Provides a technology-driven, interactive space for young people ages 12 - 24 to drop in, be creative, and develop new skills for free. Does not require a YMCA membership. Must be a member of the Teen Tech Center.

ECFE works to strengthen families and engage the ability of all parents to provide an environment that supports healthy child development. Services may include:

The AmeriCorpsSeniors-Arrowhead Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) engages older adults ages 55 and older in volunteer services to meet community needs and to provide an experience that enriches their lives. Arrowhead Volunteers promotes volunteering by assisting people of all ages, including families, to find volunteer opportunities in their communities. It also provides education and information, networking meetings, and sponsors volunteer events like the annual Volunteer Fair, Purple Ribbon Recognition, and Hall of Fame Volunteer Awards. Volunteers serve Cook, Lake, and Saint Louis counties, including the City of Duluth, through nonprofit organizations and health care facilities, including schools, libraries, hospitals, tourist attractions, nursing homes, animal shelters, food shelves, and a variety of other community programs. Volunteer opportunities involve helping children to read, delivering Meals on Wheels, preserving the natural environment, providing tourist information, friendly visiting, and more. Each volunteer is asked to give 48 or more service hours during the year.
