Recognizing the disproportionate impact these systemic issues have on people of color, YWCA Duluth's Advocacy and Equity Program works to advance policy and funding solutions that promote racial justice and gender equity.Current advocacy efforts focus on equitable access to child care-calling for increased public investment to ensure all families can find care that meets their needs, while supporting providers with livable wages and sustainable business models.
