Responsible for issuing licenses to and inspecting a variety of establishments. Services provided include:
- Child Care Health Consultation services and special event licenses in Douglas, Grant, Pope, Stevens, and Traverse counties
- Consultation appointments with a registered sanitarian
- Food & beverage establishments, lodging facilities (private/vacation home rentals), mobile home parks, recreational camping areas, public pools and youth camp licenses in Douglas and Pope counties
- Information and resources on public health complaints, ordinances, and policies
- Tobacco vendor licenses in Douglas, Grant, and Pope counties.
