Exploring is a work site program based on a relationship between youth and community organizations. Local businesses work with a post and match their employees and the program resources to the interests of the young people. Programs allow young men and women to explore career and hobby interests, develop social skills, take on outdoor adventures, grow through service and citizenship activities, and take on leadership roles as they operate their post assisted by adult advisers. The Learning for Life character education program serves youth in grades K - 12; it is available for use in school classrooms. Programs are offered at businesses, schools, and organizations which charter Exploring and Learning for Life groups.
