- Connections and Referral Unit (CRU): Secure, detoxification program that provides short-term (up to 72 hours) help to adults and adolescents under the influence of alcohol or other substances. 22-bed facility offers clients an environment for detoxifying from alcohol and drug use. Following an intake process, clients receive medical services, addiction counseling and relapse prevention education. Clients are monitored for withdrawal symptoms and an assessment is completed, followed by recommendations and referrals to community programs. - DWI Classes: Provides 8 hours of education on the effects of drinking and driving, along with tactics for improved decision making. Participants in this monthly program must be involved with traffic court or the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. - Substance Use Counseling: Provides a series of comprehensive 1:1 and group treatment options - Substance Use Outpatient Treatment Programs: Designed to help individuals overcome their dependence on alcohol and/or other chemicals. Options include 1:1 sessions with a licensed counselor, group therapy and ongoing support.

The Detox Unit offers a 40-bed medically managed sub-acute detoxification from alcohol and drugs. Also, offers Withdrawal Management program (formerly known as the Pathfinder Unit) dedicated to acute opioid-related disorders that require medical management including opioid intoxication, and opioid withdrawal for individuals diagnosed with an opioid use disorder. Length of stay will be individual based on medical and clinic needs and assessments. Additional services offered: - Addiction treatment - Care coordination - Comprehensive clinical assessments to determine clinic and medical needs - Medical evaluation/care plan - Medication induction - Medication taper - Mental health services - Help finding insurance, housing, work, and more - Peer recovery service - Withdrawal management utilizing medication FDA-approved for withdrawal management

Detoxification: - Removes toxic or harmful chemicals from the body. - Individuals are assisted by specially trained medical and counseling staff. - Available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Inpatient Treatment: - Provides intensive therapy in all aspects of recovery for those who are unable to maintain abstinence during outpatient treatment. - Residential stay is followed by an individualized schedule of outpatient treatment during day or evening hours. - Length of treatment varies according to the length of the residential stay, but typically averages 4-6 weeks for combined residential and outpatient treatment. Outpatient Treatment: - Intensive, conveniently structured treatment program for those individuals who are able to abstain from use of alcohol and other drugs while involved in the treatment process. - Treatment may be arranged during the day, evening, or a combination according to need. Aftercare and Relapse: - Provides support and stability for ongoing recovery of individuals who have completed primary treatment. - Aftercare groups (both men's and women's) focus on issues such as coping skills, securing ongoing support, family and marital dynamics, work pressures, socializing, spirituality, relaxation, and stress management. - May be recommended for those considered "high risk" for returning to alcohol or other drug use. - Builds awareness of a person's personal relapse process. - Explores old patterns and new choices to stop the cycle from repeating. DUI Offender Programs
Inpatient short-term program providing detoxification, assessment and referral for persons who are intoxicated or experiencing withdrawal from chemicals and or alcohol. Rule 25 assessments are available.
Clients must follow all requirements to remain in the program: - Orientation is required for all new clients - Daily dosing of Suboxone - Must attend groups and meetings weekly - Meet with the assigned alcohol/drug counselor or case manager weekly - Remain illicit substance free Services offered: - Cultural activities and events - Daily on site groups and meetings - Counseling and case management - Safe and private dosing environment - Medical referrals as required or requested by nursing staff or doctors. - Transportation to and from on site and off site appointments with verification. - Assistance with housing, education, day care, and employment applications.

Stays are typically a minimum of 72 hours; determination of discharge is indicative of presenting withdrawal symptomology. Admission is based on specific criteria and bed availability.

- Addiction treatment substance use assessment - Inpatient Programs: Targeted at clients requiring inpatient medical stabilization, substance abuse rehabilitation, and detoxification services. Clients may require 24-hour nursing care and medical management for seizure and withdrawal symptoms. Unit is locked for patient safety and to provide care for clients on a 72-hour basis. Average stay is 5 - 10 days. - Outpatient Programs: Day outpatient, evening outpatient, relapse prevention programs (for those who have had prior treatment) and outpatient group care. Intensive and highly structured. Clients are also encouraged to attend 12 step meetings and become acquainted with recovery philosophies. Weekly attendance for 2 hours of continuous care may be recommended for up to 12 weeks after completion of a primary care program. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, family involvement, intensity step-down programming, after-care programming, and education about community support organizations. - Virtual visits are now available for outpatient services
