Utility bills include fees for water, sanitary sewer, street lighting services, surface water management, and state testing. - Lakeville Area Arts Center: Promotes cultural enrichment and artistic experiences for the community by offering youth and adult art classes including drawing, painting, as well as a variety of theatrical productions. Oversees the design, management, and construction of the City's infrastructure, including streets, drainage, sanitary sewer line, water lines, street lighting, and other projects to support residents and businesses. A program working to ground youth in Native culture to reduce chemical and tobacco abuse, teen dating violence, gang relations, sex trafficking, and other self-compromising behaviors among at-risk youth. Through opportunities for community involvement, leadership development, culturally specific health education, and cultural enrichment activities, the program develops interpersonal competencies and strengthens the skills young people need to become community leaders and mentors for other youth.

A referral service for Japan-related resources and information, available through a database, library, and staff located at the office. - Tsushin: Monthly newsletter with articles or events and activities of interest to members, and a calendar of Japan-related cultural, business, educational, and public affairs programs and events. - Community outreach programs include a cultural program for schools known as "Japan in a Suitcase" and a dance and music program known as "Minnesota Bon Odori Project". - Nihonjinkai: is a volunteer group that supports Japanese individuals and families who live in Minnesota and make connections with people who love Japanese culture. Main activities include delivering Obento to elders who request it, visiting elder Japanese in nursing homes, publishing the "Minnesota Nihonjinkai Dayori" newsletter, and more. Monthly group meetings include a potluck and a craft party. - Japanese Speaking Club: offers informal Japanese conversation for native and non-native speakers. - Mondale Scholarship: offers annual financial grants to Minnesota undergraduate students accepted to academic programs in Japan. - J-Quiz: provides an academic competition for high school students enrolled in Japanese language classes. - Minnesota Bon Odori: dance and musical program that teaches traditional Japanese festival dance to schools and organizations. - Corporate Roundtable: business meeting series that presents discussions on key topics of interest to people involved in business between Japan and Minnesota.

The Forest History Center is located on a 171.5 acre site endowed with forests, grasslands, and wetlands that are abundant with wildlife. The center endeavors to tell the story of how people have and do use and manage the forests on northern Minnesota, while also serving as a unique environmental learning center.
