Offers a variety of educational, social, and recreational programs to community members who are 55 and older. Programs include fitness classes, arts and crafts, games, music, social clubs, outdoor activities, and lifelong learning opportunities. Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid visits are held on the 3rd Monday of each month (appointments are required).

Provides residential care facilities and services such as:

• Foster homes in licensed and unlicensed settings for adults and children living with disabilities. Ongoing residential care and supportive services are individualized based on the needs of each person.

• Crisis services and respite care to children up to age 18 who are in a crisis situation and are unable to remain in their current placement. Provides structured supports to help stabilize and transition them to less restrictive models of care.

Helps individuals and families with low incomes (including temporary low incomes) get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals. Provides extra support to help stretch a household's food budget - it is not meant to cover all the groceries a family needs. Monthly benefits are loaded on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which looks and works like a debit card. The card can be used to buy groceries at authorized stores, farmers markets, and online retailers. Learn more about where to shop and what can be bought. The amount of benefits received is based on income, expenses, and number of people in the household. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program provides free employment and education training and support for people getting SNAP benefits. SNAP E&T participants gain support, skills, training, or experience to reach their goals. Many organizations, including technical and community colleges, community-based organizations, county agencies, tribes, and CareerForce Centers provide SNAP E&T programs and services. Programs can include career planning, job search, training for in-demand jobs, student support, financial support, and continued support once a participant has a job.

Extended care program for women, who are asked to participate in 12 - 15 hours of clinical groups and individual therapy. Referrals to outside agencies and a variety of activities are designed to help clients live a stable and sober lifestyle during and after their stay.

Offers opportunities to people age 55 and over to gain work skills through paid work experience. Participants work part-time hours at work sites such as thrift stores, schools, museums, daycare centers, hospitals, nursing homes, and more. The program is designed to provide job training an support with the goal of moving to a job in the regular job market.
