Services include: Education: Assists with obtaining a social security card, birth certificate, and/or state ID, application assistance for food stamps, Medical Assistance, or financial aid, advocating at school, connecting with GED tutors, and preparing for college applications. Financial assistance for obtaining vital documents is available. Employment: Assists all youth with online job searches, applications, resumes, and practice interviewing. Providing work appropriate clothing, transportation in the form of bus passes and bus tokens to get to and from work and for interviews and Lyft/Uber for a job interview, and referrals to partner organizations to find other employment resources. YouthLink partners with HIRED/Goodwill Easter Seals.

Based on individualized service plans, tenants can receive the following services: Crisis intervention, parenting education, individual and group counseling and therapy, job readiness and retention skills training, chemical health support and therapy, and life skills training. Community-building activities are scheduled on a monthly basis to provide education as well as develop a sense of community among the tenants. These activities include on-site sessions as well as off-site outings. Provides homeless, mentally ill single parents with permanent, affordable, chemically-free housing so that these families can move towards stability.
The Minneapolis Women Veterans Comprehensive Health Center (WVCHC) is an interdisciplinary clinic designed to provide collaborative and comprehensive care for women veterans. Women Veterans Call Center: Provides women veterans, their families, and caregivers about VA services and resources. Call, chat, or text is available. Primary care includes: - Health evaluation and counseling, disease prevention, nutrition counseling, weight control, smoking cessation, and substance abuse counseling and treatment as well as gender-specific primary care, e.g., cervical cancer screens (pap smears), breast cancer screens (mammograms), birth control, preconception counseling, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, menopausal support (hormone replacement therapy). - Mental health includes evaluation and assistance for issues such as depression, mood, and anxiety disorders; intimate partner and domestic violence; sexual trauma; elder abuse or neglect; parenting and anger management; marital, caregiver, or family-related stress; and post-deployment adjustment or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). - Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Women-and men as well-may experience repeated sexual harassment or sexual assault during their military service. Special services are available to women who have experienced MST. VA provides free, confidential counseling, and treatment for mental and physical health conditions related to MST. Specialty Care includes: - Management and screening of chronic conditions includes heart disease, diabetes, cancer, glandular disorders, osteoporosis, and fibromyalgia as well as sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS and hepatitis. - Reproductive health care includes maternity care, infertility evaluation, and limited treatment; sexual problems, tubal ligation, urinary incontinence, and others. VA is prohibited by legislative authority from providing abortion services. - Rehabilitation, homebound, and long-term care. VA referrals are given to those in need of rehabilitation therapies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, exercise therapy, recreational therapy, and vocational therapy. Homebound and long-term care services are available as well, limited to those meeting specific requirements. Programs for Special Groups include: Special programs provide services for homeless women veterans, victims of domestic violence, and women veterans interested in education and training, employment assistance, and vocational rehabilitation.

Provides scattered-site permanent housing for families and individuals who are homeless and have a disability. The program includes a rent subsidy where households pay 30 percent of their income for rent and includes a case management component based on the need. NOTE: Families and individuals must get a pre-screen through United Way 211 to access this program. The pre-screen information is provided to Saint Louis County Housing Assessment Team - SLCHAT.

Village of Hope provides safe, secure emergency housing for families 24 hours/day ~ 7 days a week. We are open 365 days a year. The environment that a family experiencing homeless comes into is very important. We work to create a calm, safe environment in which families can build a future. Families can stay with us for 90 days, as long as they are actively looking for housing. Each family has their own apartment. Resource Centers: During designated drop-in hours, YMCA Resource Centers are staffed by an Outreach Worker who can help youth, ages 12 - 24, with basic needs support such as food, clothes, hygiene items, household supplies, parenting items, and more. Also during drop-in hours, youth can stop in to get their coordinated entry assessment completed, help finding shelter, screened for prevention services, or access other YMCA resources/services. Four locations: Lion's Resource Center/Northeast Minneapolis, Emma's Place in Coon Rapids, Maplewood, and Saint Paul Midway Safe StaY Emergency Shelter: Moves youth off the streets into a safe space and provides supportive services. School and Street Outreach: Youth Outreach Workers provide services for youth and young adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness at schools and out in the community to meet immediate needs and connect them to community resources. Youth Resource Line: A free message line for local youth age 12 - 24 who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk. Assistance with resources and community referrals.

Emergency Shelter and Day Center for people experiencing homelessness. Servants of Shelter operates a 5 apartment unit Family Shelter. Shelter guests receive Case Management and Housing Resource Navigation services during their 30-90 day stay. SOS operates a Day Center with laundry, showers, a communal kitchen, hygiene items, and more. SOS also operates two Permanent Supportive Housing programs for people living with disabilities who are also experiencing homelessness.
