A confidential phone line is staffed by a Mental Health Navigator specifically trained to guide individuals to mental health resources. The Mental Health Navigator listens to an individual's story. Then, basic background information like age, location, and insurance information (if any) is gathered to help narrow down service options. From there, the Mental Health Navigator searches local resources to help determine treatment options and community service providers to meet the individual's needs. Resources include therapists, clinics, detox programs, peer support, and other opportunities within Central Minnesota Mental Health Center's programs and in the community.

Monthly benefits are loaded on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which looks and works like a debit card.
