Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) provides cash assistance to refugees who are ineligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or MFIP for up to 8 months after arrival in the United States. To ensure that RCA recipients are self-sufficient within RCA eligibility, agencies provide employment and social services. RCA recipients may continue to receive social services after RCA eligibility ends. There is no 30-day Minnesota residency requirement for RCA.

Voluntary early intervention program that provides a comprehensive assessment of families' needs and strengths to assist with making decisions about what services or community resources are accessible. Short-term help may be available to families with concerns regarding:

• Basic needs (food, clothing, and housing)

• Child care

• Financial needs (budgeting and financial assistance)

• Family health (medical care, mental, and chemical health services)

• Parenting

• Transportation

Referrals are often made to community support services such as child development screening services, food shelves, free or low-cost clothing programs, free health clinics, mental health services, and parenting support classes.

Camps are designed to meet the needs of each individual participant, whether they are a seasoned performer or someone stepping on stage for the first time. With a focus on process and skill development, additional intensive opportunities, new stories, as well as past favorites for all young theatre artists.

Helps individuals and families with low incomes (including temporary low incomes) get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals. Provides extra support to help stretch a household's food budget - it is not meant to cover all the groceries a family needs. Monthly benefits are loaded on an Electronic Benefit Transfers (EBT) card, which looks and works like a debit card. The card can be used to buy groceries at authorized stores, farmers markets, and online retailers. Learn more about where to shop and what can be bought. The amount of benefits received is based on income, expenses, and number of people in the household. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program provides free employment and education training and support for people getting SNAP benefits. SNAP E&T participants gain support, skills, training, or experience to reach their goals. Many organizations, including technical and community colleges, community-based organizations, county agencies, tribes, and CareerForce Centers provide SNAP E&T programs and services. Programs can include carer planning, job search, training for in-demand jobs, student support, financial support, and continued support once a participant has a job.

Plans and develops, with local partners, a variety of home and community-based services for older adults so that they can stay in their own homes and communities.

• Provides technical assistance to local providers to develop and implement service delivery models in line with long-term care systems rebalancing, to ensure efficient and quality service, promote consumer choice, and maximize local resources.

• Projects include improving dementia care, supporting older adults with chronic illness, caregiver support, and assisting municipalities to prepare for the aging of local communities
