Every participant is provided with workplace skills via paid work experience. Participants get experience in reading a tape measure, using handheld and power tools, estimating project needs, painting/staining, installing cabinets, sheetrock and mudding, demolition, installing banisters and stairs, concrete work, installing flooring, window installation, roofing, framing garden beds, and picnic tables. Construction projects focus on low-income housing and nonprofit organizations.

Program rules provide a 0% down payment and interest loan for a maximum of 30 days. Community Revitalization Fund (CRF): ?Provides low interest loans for qualified individuals in building or buying existing homes. Down payment assistance may be available through CRF program. First-time Homebuyer Program: Partners with Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for funding made available annually Section 8 Home Ownership Program: Helps with mortgage payments for current participants of the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. The program is open to participants who have been on the voucher program for at least one year. Once on the program, the family will be issued a Homeownership voucher.

  • Vaginal ring (NuvaRing©) inserted monthly
  • Depo shot (Depo Provera©) injected every three months
  • IUDs hormonal (effective for 3 to 7 years) and non-hormonal (effective up to 12 years), also available for emergency contraception
  • Implant (Nexplanon©) inserted in the arm, effective for up to 5 years
