Provides a number of transitional housing units located in the Twin Cities metro, Duluth, and Saint Cloud. Most transitional houses are Single Room Occupancy (SRO), though entire houses may be available for families. Veterans must be able to live independently. The length of stay varies, but the maximum stay is two years. The rent is determined on a sliding scale - no greater than $500/month. All units require a sober environment (no drugs or alcohol on the premises) but does not require sobriety. The only exception is Building 47 on the Minneapolis VA Medical Center Campus as this transitional housing requires sobriety.

Provides a two-year transitional living program for youth ages 16 - 21 experiencing homeless. Rezek offers 10 efficiency units for single youth as well as two one-bedroom units for parenting youth. Case management and life skills training provided.
Movement for Violence Prevention (MVP): Leadership development activities to assist youth-led community engagement, skill enhancement, peer connections, and tools for change to prevent youth violence. Inspiring Youth: A year-long, intensive, community-based program for youth ages 10 - 17 and their families who have been impacted by violence. Youth workers provide comprehensive and culturally responsive mentorship, support, and access to services, activities, and leadership opportunities. Youth Site-Based and Community-Based Housing: Transitional housing for youth and young adults who are victims of violence and exploitation, including sex trafficking. Safety planning and support are provided. Voices in Prevention (VIP): A 6-week violence prevention curriculum serving middle and high school students. Curriculum might also include support groups, one-on-one sessions, peer mediation, and service learning. Youth Safety Plans: Specialized safety plans for youth NorthStar Youth Outreach Center: A drop-in center for homeless youth offering advocacy, safety planning, and connections to additional community resources. The center also offers: - Assistance with housing - Assistance with career and education planning - Computer lab - Counseling - Creative art spaces - Food and snacks - Laundry access - Supplies and clothing

Emergency transitional shelter including case management, skills training, personal care items, access to telephones, computers with internet access, laundry facilities, shower room, advocacy, private sleeping accommodations, three meals a day and transportation. Average length of stay is 65 days. Partners with churches who provide overnight accommodations and meals.
Offers transitional housing for adults who have a barrier in maintaining housing and employment, with an opportunity to establish employment and stability in an independent living setting within the community or surrounding areas. Participants in the program will develop a month-by-month plan to meet goals, such as establishing local health providers, reinstating driver's licenses, and improving their social and self-care skills. Housing is made up of 9 private rooms each containing a bed, sink, microwave, small fridge, TV, and bathroom/shower.
Drug and alcohol free transitional housing in a Christian environment providing: - Professional staff supervision, mentors, and groups - Shared room - 3 Meals a day provided - TV, phone, Internet, laundry included - Shared space including living room, kitchen, bathrooms, showers - On bus line and within walking distance of shopping needs - Occasional transportation as necessary - Chemical dependency treatment groups and one-on-one counseling - Life skills groups - Nurse is provided to meet with residents weekely for medical and medication needs - Bed, sheets, dressers, and large storage containers provided - Residents stay up to six months - Assistance in finding part-time or full-time work. Residents keep all of their income, but are encouraged to save a portion.

Provides low and moderate-income adults, families, and youth with affordable, permanent housing. Aeon owns a diverse range of apartments and townhomes in the Twin Cities Area. Properties include: - Studio, 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units - Efficiency apartments for very low-income homeless youth, some with one child. Provides homeless youth ages 16 - 24 with a base from which to take part in schooling, jobs, and other constructive activities. Youth must comply with tight rules and pay one-third of any income toward rent. Staffed 24 hours a day for immediate support, assistance, information, and crisis intervention. Independent living skills training provided. - Provides transtional and section 8 housing for formerly homeless adults. Program rules apply. Drug-free community committed to sobriety. - Limited number of rentals available for individuals with Unlawful Detainers or criminal histories. Helps victims who have been impacted by domestic violence in Carver and Scott counties. Services provided: - 24-hour confidential crisis line to provide a safe place to call, receive support, and ask questions. Trained advocates are available 24 hours/7 days a week. Meetings at the office are also available by appointment. - Emotional support for the victim and their child(ren) - Help victims fleeing a domestic violence situation seek safe shelter - Information for support group, resources, school enrollment, and follow up services - Safety planning and safety equipment for the home - Partners with Carver Scott Humane Society to offer temporary fostering of pets for Southern Valley Alliance clients who are residents through their program, SafeFurSpaces, part of the Fur Keeps Program - Transitional Housing: Partners with Carver County Community Development Agency (CDA) and private property managers to connect clients to scattered site transitional housing units located throughout Carver and Scott counties. Housing is offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on funding and size availability of apartment units.

The program provides scattered site supportive housing to homeless individuals and families. The purpose of the program is to move economically challenged residents toward self-sufficiency by identifying and removing barriers, integrating services, and developing plans for financial stability. Participants enter into a lease for a dwelling and pay a pro-rated amount of their income for housing. WCCA develops a mutually agreed upon housing plan to attain housing stability. Services include: - Help in obtaining adequate housing - Partial limited cost share of rent for up to 18 months to income-eligible families - Skills building in budgeting - Supportive services such as resource and referral NOTE: The program does not assist with rent for existing housing
